Who We Are

FAB Treasure Foundation is a non-governmental organization (NGO) with five years of experience advancing the rights, wellbeing, and potential of girls across Nigeria.

Founded in 2020 and formally registered in 2022, we work to ensure that every girl—regardless of her background—has the knowledge, confidence, and opportunities to rise above limitations and lead change from her community.

Our work focuses on three critical pillars that shape the future of girls: leadership development, digital literacy and skills, and menstrual health and hygiene education. Through impactful community-driven programs delivered in secondary schools, rural communities, and IDP camps, we create safe, supportive environments where girls can learn, lead, and thrive.

Why We Exist

Why We Exist

Across Nigeria, millions of girls face barriers ranging from period poverty and low self-esteem to a widening gender–digital divide—challenges that silence their voices, disrupt their education, and exclude them from leadership, STEM, and the digital economy.

These barriers have real consequences. According to UNICEF report, over 23% of adolescent girls in Nigeria miss school due to inadequate menstrual health support. Meanwhile, limited access to digital tools and skills leaves girls excluded from the opportunities shaping the 21st century—reinforcing cycles of poverty and limiting their future opportunities.

FAB Treasure Foundation exists to break these barriers — practically, sustainably, and where the need is greatest. Working in secondary schools, rural communities, and IDP camps, we combine menstrual-health education and sanitary supplies (PAD with FAB), hands-on digital skills training (Digital Inclusion for Nigerian Girls), school-readiness support, study materials, and scholarships for vulnerable girls (Back to School), and leadership development (SheRose Conference) we equip girls with the knowledge, confidence and tools to stay in school and lead.

We exist because when a girl is educated, confident, and digitally empowered, she doesn’t just rewrite her own story—she uplifts her family, strengthens her community, and helps build a more inclusive and prosperous Nigeria.

According to a report by The World Bank, women make up less than a third of the world’s workforce in technology-related fields. The ratio of women to men in tech roles has declined in the past 35 years, with half of the women who go into tech dropping out by the age of 35, according to data from Accenture. The study attributes much of this decline to a lack of inclusivity for women in the industry. Recent data from Accenture shows that as of 2022, only 25% of tech graduates are women.

Our focus as an organization is to change the narrative, create a more inclusive and equitable society, empower girls and women to overcome barriers, and contribute to positive change.
